In Central Florida we basically have two seasons – hot and not quite as hot. But let’s be honest, having year-round summer temps is not all bad. One of the benefits is we can wear Lilly Pulitzer’s resort designs at least seven months out of the year. Down here we kind of ignore that whole ‘no white after Labor Day” rule.
Naturally, this Florida girl loves the vibrant prints that Lilly offers. You can’t help but feel happy in the bright designs created from original works of art. So, it’s an understatement to say that I’m over the moon to be co-hosting a Shop and Share event at the Lilly Pulitzer Madison Avenue (NYC) store on Thursday, May 11, to benefit The Michael J. Fox Foundation For Parkinson’s Research is an understatement.
When I was in NYC last week, I paid a visit to the beautiful Madison Avenue store to talk about the event. Not only is the store itself amazing, the associates working there are incredibly friendly and helpful. If you’re in the area on Thursday between 12:00 and 7:00 p.m., stop by the store and see for yourself. While you’re there enjoy some refreshments and, of course, shop till you drop. It’s for a great cause!
If you follow me on Instagram (which you should be :)) I’ve been featuring looks from the latest collection as part of my ‘Eleven Days of Lilly’ countdown to the shop and share event. This Elsa silk top is a new arrival and looks great with white pants. It’s also super cute with Lilly’s Buttercup scallop hem shorts. Head over to my Instagram to see more fabulous designs from the newest collection. You’re going to love it!
On Thursday, May 11, take a break from the hustle and bustle of the City and stop by the Lilly store. Trust me, you will leave feeling happy and equipped with beautiful resort wear for your summer vacation. Don’t have a summer vacation planned? This just might inspire you. Hope to see you there!
