As you may have read in my earlier post, we recently had an extended stay in New York City due to my son being hospitalized for respiratory failure. We cancelled our flights back to Florida, because we did not feel comfortable putting him on a plane so quickly after being discharged from the Pediatric ICU. Instead, we decided to take a road trip along the east coast for some quality family time. We made several stops along the way, one of which was in Savannah, Georgia.
Eleven years ago, my husband and I were married in Savannah. It was wonderful to share this charming Southern city with our son. I will be featuring more details of our trip home in an upcoming post – The Road To Recovery.
In the meantime, Savannah’s beautiful architecture and unmistakable charm offered a perfect backdrop to shoot this retro, high-collared shift dress. I can honestly say that I love everything about Closet London’s Retro Rumours collection. This gorgeous shift dress is reminiscent of Jackie O – so ladylike and proper.
The watch I’m wearing is from Wristology. If you’re not familiar with Wristology, their line of watches is designed for maximum versatility – you can easily change out the band for different looks. For under $100 you can build your own watch with three different bands. The interactive website lets you preview the watch you select with each band. Click here to check out their cool selection. Also, you can use code “shoemaven10” at checkout to save 10%!
Thank you to Closet London for sending me the beautiful shift dress to share with my readers. In the interest of full disclosure, I am a participant in Wristology’s affiliate program. As always, all thoughts and opinions contained in this post are mine.
