In these pics, you might notice that I’m a little more tan than I was in my last post. As a Florida girl, I do my best not to look the same shade as Casper the Friendly Ghost, but my schedule does not allow for much time lounging in the sun. Most of my time in the sun is active, in appropriate running or tennis gear – hello farmer’s tan! A quality spray tan or self tanner makes for a good substitute and allows me to even out, but I don’t care for the marks a spray tan leaves on my bed sheets. This is no longer a problem thanks to the inventive minds behind Tanzee (more about the Tanzee below).
I decided to “show off” my new tan in my favorite retro Burberry skirt – circa 1990s. I found this cute skirt at one of my favorite vintage stores – Retromended Boutique. If you live in the Orlando area, you must check out this adorable shop. If you don’t live in the area, you can still shop the store on Etsy. You will find items like a vintage Lanvin shoulder bag, YSL pumps, a DVF skirt, and even an Eastern Airlines stewardess uniform.
The Tanzee is a blanket of silky material that is like a very roomy sleeping bag. It even has a pocket for your pillow. My friends, this product is genius. I only wish I thought of it. If you use self tanners or get spray tans, you must get a Tanzee. No more sheets ruined from self tanner marks. Plus, no funny tan lines (on your arms or legs) from where the tanner rubbed off onto the sheets.
Special thanks to the folks at Tanzee for sending me their product to review and share with my readers.
