September was a month of many blessings, and the opportunity to participate in the annual Millenia Fashion Week was among the best of them. I was one of four bloggers selected to attend a champagne breakfast featuring the hottest trends from Neiman Marcus CUSP, style a Neiman Marcus fall trend inspired look and model the look on stage at Fashion’s Night In! When I received my invitation, I was tempted to respond “You had me at champagne breakfast!”
Overall, my favorite part of the experience was sharing the events and stage with several of my favorite bloggers. The lineup included Alpa – A Parisian in America, Kristie – If The Choo Fits, and Jomy – Love Jomy.
For my look, I ventured outside of my normal comfort zone and styled a look with a bit more edge. I channeled my inner Olivia Newton John and went with a satin bomber jacket and stiletto pants. I was particularly drawn to the floral and beaded embellishment on the Sachin & Babi jacket. My look included pants from Current/Elliott, a Milly halter neckline top, and shoes by Stuart Weitzman. I finished it off with a fabulous Stella McCartney bag.
I also had the pleasure to attend a champagne brunch Fall Collection Spotlight to benefit Runway To Hope. The brunch was hosted by the beautiful Zanna Roberts Rassi. Pictured below are and Mark and Josie NeJame – the founders of Runway To Hope.
Millenia Fashion Week was hosted by the always glamorous Melanie Pace. If you are not familiar with Melanie, she is a bit of a fashion icon in the Central Florida area (and beyond). When she is not doing her weekly style segment on Fox 35, she can often be found hosting the top fashion events in the area. This year, Melanie was joined by Zanna Roberts Rassi and Josie NeJame.
Here’s a look at some of the fabulous styles featured at the event, including looks from leading retailers in The Mall At Millenia.
