The floral blooms on this Closet London dress seemed appropriate for the castle-like atmosphere of Joseph Wood Hill Park at the summit of Rocky Butte in Portland, Oregon. I was a little overdressed for the occasion – sightseeing, but the people passing by in their comfy clothes and sneakers got a kick out of it. They loved this dress, and so do I.
I managed to hike up all the steps in these booties to see the amazing 360 degree views of Portland. The sky was surprisingly clear, so we could see Mount Hood and Mount St. Helens off in the distance. It was like nothing I’ve ever seen before. In Florida, we obviously don’t get to experience mountains, unless you count Space Mountain.
This was our first “tourist” destination during our recent visit to Portland for the World Parkinson’s Congress. Stay tuned for more posts sharing details of our visit, including our test drive of a fabulous Mitsubishi Outlander through the Oregon mountains. As always, outfit details are at the bottom of the post.
Special thanks to Closet London for sending me this beautiful dress to share with my readers.
