The past few months have been really busy, but a good kind of busy. The kind of busy that makes you slightly neurotic, but only because you are incredibly blessed with opportunities. There are so many good things happening. God is good.
I can’t yet share all of the details, but I can give you a glimpse of what is in store for the coming weeks. Today, I had an amazing, fashion-filled breakfast at the Neiman Marcus store located at The Mall At Millenia to kick off Fashion Week 2016. I joined four other bloggers for mimosas, eggs benedict, and a private showing of the latest fall fashions.
After breakfast, we were each given the opportunity to style a look, which we will be modeling on the runway at an event next week. You can get the first look at my outfit on my Instagram account in the coming days. Please considering giving it a like. The blogger with the most likes gets a fabulous gift card! I will be sharing more details about Fashion Week 2016 over the next week or so.
More big things are in store the week after next. I am excited to share that I will be traveling to the World Parkinson Congress (WPC) in Portland, Oregon. The WPC is hosted once every three years and is attended by patients, care partners, physicians, scientists, and health care providers from all over the world. Not only will I be attending, but I have been given an extraordinary opportunity to share my journey with the Parkinson’s community. While I can’t yet share all of the details, I can drop a few hints – it involves a film crew and a highly-accomplished photographer :).
My husband and son will be joining me for the trip, so we are going to take the opportunity to explore the Oregon coast, some wineries, and visit friends. I look forward to sharing the details of this amazing journey. Stay tuned.
But for now, it’s a “wrap.” More specifically, its a fabulous wrap dress from Karina Dresses (my corny sense of humor strikes again).
I am a big fan of Karina Dresses, because I often prefer looks that have a classic influence. Special thanks Karina Dresses for sending me this wrap dress to share with my readers.
