The bright side of orange is that not only is it one of my favorite colors, it also happens to be the Team Fox color. Team Fox is the grassroots fundraising arm of the Michael J. Fox Foundation. The money raised to benefit MJFF goes directly to cutting-edge Parkinson’s research.
Orange represents a brighter future for me. A future that has no place for Parkinson’s disease. A future where me and my fellow Parkies will be free from the pain and challenges of this degenerative neurological disease.
I naturally fell in love with this neon Mint Julep Boutique dress, because I love the bright orange. Even an elderly man who rode his bicycle by me during this photo shoot commented on the dress being colorful. I love that it doesn’t go unnoticed. I want to be on the bright side!
The look: Shoes: Stuart Weitzman; Dress: Mint Julep Boutique; Necklace and Bracelet: Old Navy (in-store); Sunnies: NYC street vendor. For a more casual look, this dress could easily be paired with wedges or some cute flip flops.
Special thanks to Mint Julep Boutique for sending me this dress to share with my readers.
