In the words of one of my photographer friends – “It’s not a real photo shoot unless the police are called.” Right after the lovely Megan Mack snapped this photo, hotel security walked up and asked is to leave since we were not guests of the hotel. Hotel security is not exactly the police, but close enough in this instance. I don’t recall ever being kicked out of a place for taking pictures for my blog, but there is a first time for everything. At least I had a brief moment to sit on the bench in the beautiful lobby and “reflect” until we were kicked out on the city streets to fend for ourselves. Okay, so maybe that’s a little dramatic, but so was the security guy’s reaction.
The rest of the pictures are “street style.” In the last photo you may notice I am facing the wrong way to hail a taxi, but the picture would not have been as interesting if you just saw the back of my head. Not all photo shoots go according to plan. Like the rest of life, sometimes you just have to make the best of it.
