Most of you know that leading up to my vow renewal, I featured three potential dresses to wear for the event. All three dresses (one was a romper) were unique in their own way. Solutions Bridal provided me with some incredible options. I ultimately chose the beautiful Monique Lhuillier dress shown here. As soon as I put the dress on, I knew it was the one. It just fit my personality.
I love this next photo because it captures me in a candid moment with my mom and it also shows the back of the dress.
So, I was settled on the dress and then enters up-and-coming designer Raul Del Castillo. He reached out to me and generously offered to make a dress just for me – wow! The dress was not originally intended to be for my vow renewal ceremony; he simply wanted to design a dress for me to enjoy. After a few fittings and a lot of anticipation, Raul delivered the most beautiful dress ever. And, then there were two dresses!
I will be sharing more about Raul in the coming weeks. For now, here is a peek at the exquisite dress he designed for me, which I wore during the actual ceremony.
Here we are chatting with our fabulous event planner – Andrea. This pic offers a great shot of the exquisite detail on the back of the dress.
I was incredibly blessed to have two amazing dresses to choose from, and there was no way I could select one over the other for this special occasion. So, I wore Raul’s design during the cocktail reception and ceremony, and the Solutions Bridal dress during lunch and the post-ceremony reception. After all, who doesn’t love an outfit change?!
